Dr. Isreb is FACP, FASN, and Chairman of SAMS Foundation. Dr. Isreb is a nephrologist in Southwest Washington State. He received his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine and his Nephrology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He currently serves as the President of the Medical Staff at St. John Medical Center. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals related to the topic of diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and more recently about End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in armed conflict.
Dr. Isreb has done extensive volunteer work in organizing, leading, and participating in Medical Missions to Jordan to attend to Syrian refugees. Dr. Isreb served as Chairman of the Jordan Relief Committee and is the current chairman of the SAMS Foundation. In 2014, he set up a dialysis program in Jordan in collaboration between the Syrian American Medical Society and the Syrian Organization for Social Welfare to dialyze Syrian refugees.
